And you may want to add CHEAP to that. I have been in music for thirty years, and three albums and a zillion highway miles later one thing I have learned, is that you can be on every damn internet website, build your maiing list and work it responsibly, add a gazillion my space friends, perofrm your ass off and even be on a reality television show as I have, and it doesn’t necessarily transend into Cd sales. The abysmal reality is that todays so called “fan” expect free music. The fan of yesterday actually bought your album as they wanted a part of you. Today’s ‘fan’ just blows smoke and lip service. I know cause I get my share. And friends and family? Hell, forget about them, they all just want a free copy because they KNOW you. I have found a good way to move some cds online is through obscure music sites that review albums. There are people overseas that actually read reviews and then purchase the Cd. What a concept.
